– Savor the drink. This will cut back on the amount ordered.
– Eat before spending the day celebrating with friends. Choose healthy options at home to fill up on to avoid the temptation of ordering fries, nachos and jalapeño poppers
– Add sparkling flavored water to a drink of choice. This is a great way to get the bubbly added in and the extra flavor, without the calories.  Bubbly water has less calories than soda.

RMDS Lab is Launching its Data Science Competition: Developing an Analytics Dashboard to Improve Restaurant Performance

Digital technology and data-driven decision making have dramatically changed how restaurants stay competitive and survive. As food delivery and online reservations become more and more popular, restaurants can hardly operate without using digital and data technologies. This quarter’s contestants will be challenged with collecting important data sets and then creating an analytics dashboard that will help restaurants to boost their businesses and improve their overall performance. First place winners will receive a grant of $1,000 and second place winners will receive $500. Other non-cash awards include internships with RMDS Lab. Additionally, whoever completes and submits to the competition will receive a FREE TRIAL membership to grmds.org, including admission to the IM Data 2021 conference.

It successfully organized a 2019 data science competition in partnership with a NASA JPL research group to predict hurricanes, and it created a 2020 data science competition in partnership with the City of Los Angeles for scoring COVID19 risk.

Contestants will receive support from RMDS’s large pool of experts and data science professionals, training resources, plus a special forum at GRMDS.org for contestants to get questions answered and interact with other participants.

BROOKLYN, NY, UNITED STATES, August 31, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Google and Project N95 – a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization – have partnered to open access to N95 respirators on the Google Shopping tab in the United States, widening access to authentic N95 respirators and enabling users to discover certified N95 masks via Project N95.

In March of 2020, Google responded to the shortages of respirators that were vital for healthcare workers serving on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic by placing a temporary restriction on advertising N95 masks. This was done to avoid exacerbating the supply shortages frontline healthcare workers faced and to protect consumers from counterfeit products on the market.

While the COVID-19 pandemic is still impacting the nation, constraints on the supply chain for masks have eased. To make these highly protective N95s available to consumers yet ensure that the products offered are of high quality, Google has partnered with nonprofit Project N95.

Project N95 has been serving healthcare, frontline workers and the general public since March 2020. Established as a rapid response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the nonprofit organization has developed extensive vetting procedures, becoming the National Clearinghouse for personal protective equipment (PPE). Project N95’s established reputation as a trusted supplier of N95 respirators, COVID-19 tests, masks and other PPE will help improve access, affordability and authenticity of these critical masks.
